Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský will visit Uzbekistan on 22 October, according to the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Prior to this, on 21 October, he plans to visit Kazakhstan.

The agenda for the visit to Uzbekistan will begin with a lecture at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent.

Following the lecture, the minister will meet with Foreign Minister Bakhtier Saidov and be received by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Jamshid Khojaev.

This marks the first visit by the Czech Foreign Minister to Uzbekistan since 1995.

The Czech Republic intends to share its experience in digitalization and modernization, which is relevant to the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan.
