Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan to be presented to German public

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International Heritage of the Great Silk Road as a bridge between Uzbekistan and Germany will be held in Berlin on 15 January.

The event will be timed to the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Within the framework of the Forum, the opening ceremony of the exhibition of the album books of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the World Collections project will be held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin.

The highlight of the forum will be the presentation of the illustrated book-album "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the collections of Germany" with the welcoming speech of the President of Uzbekistan. The album will go down in the history of Uzbekistan printing as the first book using modern multimedia technologies, which can not only be read, but also seen on its smartphones its individual pages, including the 3D effect.

In Berlin, the leading art scholars of Germany will talk about the historical collections of the great Uzbek art in the museums of Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig and Shtudgart.

Among them:

- “Collection from the Emirate of Bukhara in the Berlin Ethnological Museum”

- “Pearls of the Buyan-Kuli-Khan Mausoleum from the Collection of the Museum of Decorative and Applied Art in Hamburg”

- “Manuscripts of Alisher Navoi in the Berlin State Library”

- “Exhibits of the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan in the Bumiller collection”

- As well as a rare collection of the “East Branch of the Linden Museum in Stuttgart”

 

And this is only part of the presentations of scientists with a world name and authoritative works on the culture and art of Uzbekistan.

Some of the manuscripts presented here come from the territories where Uzbek classics lived and created, and some were brought directly from Uzbekistan. These are the astronomical tables of Ulugbek, which have been stored in the library since the 19th century. In this paper, information about 1018 stars in 38 constellations is given, and the length of the stellar year is also indicated.

A gala evening “Uzbekistan as the heart of the Great Silk Road” will be held within the media forum. 150 participants and guests of the evening, including politicians, scientists, media workers in Germany, will present the results of the Uzbek-German cooperation in the field of culture and art.

The final event of the media event in Berlin will be a gala dinner in the national style, where guests will be presented the best dishes of the Uzbek cuisine. The evening will be decorated with bright concert performances of Uzbek artists.
