The draft law envisages adding article 622 to Criminal Code, which envisages to release from responsibility due to inexistence of complaints from victim, and reflect this change to article 325 and amendments to article 333 of Criminal-Procedural Codes of Uzbekistan.

The law is directed at further liberalization of criminal and criminal- procedural legislation and allow significantly safe resources of law enforcement and judicial bodies and decrease load on them. It will also strengthen work on investigation and opening of the complicated crimes and improve quality of criminal legal proceedings as a whole.

MPs of the Legislative Chamber approved concept of the draft law and approved it in the first reading.
