Credit Standard Bank to increase charter capital by 2.16bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Credit Standard open joint stock commercial bank will place new emission of shares for 2.16 billion soums, the bank said in a statement.

In line with the prospectus of emission, Credit Standard Bank will issue 6,000 ordinary shares with par value if 360,000 soums each.

The placement of new shares will allow to raise charter capital from 9.3 billion soums to 11.46 billion soums.

The bank will place shares on closed subscription among shareholders proportionally to their shares in equity capital. Transkapital LLC, which owns 76% share in the bank, will acquire 54,5600 shares for 1.641 billion soums. Other shares will be bought by individuals.

Credit Standard open joint stock commercial bank was founded on 16 August 2003 with charter capital of 1.3 billion soums. The bank’s headquarters is in Tashkent. The bank’s assets made up 259.1 billion soums as of 1 April 2010. The equity capital is 35.4 billion soums. Net income of the bank in 2009 was 6.288 billion soums.
