Costa Rica advances to quarterfinals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Costa Rica advanced to quarterfinals of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, outplaying Greece in penalty shootouts.

The full time and extra time ended with the score 1-1. Bryan Ruiz scored seven minutes into the second half, but Greek defender Sokratis scored an equalizer at the end of the match.

In the penalty shootouts, Costa Rica goalkeeper Navas save from Theofanis Gekas to help his team to advance next round.
