Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Construction has commenced of the electrified "Baytkurgan – Parkent" railway in Parkent district of Tashkent region.

In line with the instructions of the President, the new railway line will connect the district to Tashkent, providing a more convenient and modern transportation link.

The railway will span 23.8 kilometers. The route is being designed by JSC "Boshtransloyiha," while construction is being carried out by specialists from the railway industry.
