Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government resolution approved the regulations on the procedure for the selection of draftees. This Regulation defines the procedure for attracting draftees to readiness for military-technical specialties and their selection for military service.
The competition is held in the form of evaluation of general physical training of draftees, qualification tests and individual interviews by the Competition Council, approved by the decision of the khokim of the district.
The competition is held the year before the draft year from 10 August to 10 February.
The number of recruits participating in the contest is not limited.
Evaluation of the general physical training of draftees is carried out according to the following standards:
- pulling up on a horizontal bar;
- 100 meters running;
- 3000 meters running.
A conscript who fails to pass these standards is not allowed to qualification tests.
Qualification tests are conducted in the form of 60 questions that need to be answered on a computer. The questions are compiled within the curricula of schools, colleges and lyceums, and their answers are given 1 hour 30 minutes. The final assessment for these tests is automatically displayed on the monitor; the recruit is not allowed to pass the qualification tests again.
Individual interviews are held under the control of the chamber, and carried out by determining the knowledge of the draftee on the History of Uzbekistan, the Code of Amir Temur, as well as the life and activities of our other great ancestors.
Based on the results of an individual interview, the Competition Council decides on the recruitment of conscripts to military-technical specialties or recommendations for military service.
