Representatives of government, ministries, state bodies, funds, agencies and parliament participated at the session.

During the session, the participants considered development of agriculture sector. It was noted that Uzbekistan wants to create 970,000 new jobs in 2013, of which 500,000 will be created due to development of small and private sector, service sector and farm movement.

The participants noted that it is necessary to implement industrial programmes, projects on modernization and re-equipment of enterprises, speed up development of transport and communication construction, infrastructure, etc.

It was said that it is necessary to carry out systematic work on revealing and solving problems of the farmers. This will stimulate work on developing existing legislation and further developing laws, regulating activities of farms.

At the end of the session, the participants adopted resolution of the committees, which calls Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management and Uzbekistan Farmers’ Council to adopt programme on implementation of the tasks, proposed by the Uzbek President Islam Karimov.
