Within the project, some 60 girls of various ages underwent free training on CodeCraft programming courses within over a month. During the courses, the participants learnt to make mobile apps on Android platform.

The participants were divided into teams after undergoing training and they should present their projects based on knowledge they gained during the project. After preliminary round, four teams advanced to the final presentation.

Maftuna Ziyamova commented: “I have been interested in mathematics and physics since my childhood. Suddenly, I discovered another important direction – coding Android applications. I think our Family Budget application will be useful for many people and help them to plan and save the family budget. I would like to express my gratitude to Inha University in Tashkent and the British Embassy for provided opportunity to study coding. I am confident that the knowledge, which I gained during the project, will help me in future to become a professional in the field of information technology.”

During the training, I realized how exciting and useful it is. My mom inspired to develop the Family Budget app. Now we will also use our application. I’m happy to continue to study in the CodeCraft courses.”
