Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 18 October 2019, the embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States hosted a clavier concert of works by prominent world composers performed by a graduate of the Uspensky music school in Tashkent, virtuoso pianist Roman Rabinovich.

The guests of the evening were members of The Embassy Series, representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia, political and business circles of Washington.

Opening the event, Ambassador Javlon Vakhabov informed those present about the development of Uzbek-American cooperation, large-scale reforms carried out in our country to preserve the historical and cultural heritage, created favorable conditions for improving the business environment and increasing the tourist flow to Uzbekistan.

For the guests of the Embassy, our compatriot Roman Rabinovich masterfully performed the works of outstanding composers of the 17th-20th centuries Johann Sebastian Bach, György Sandor Ligeti, Claude Debussy, George Gershwin, Enrique Granados and Igor Stravinsky.

The president of The Embassy Series, Jerome Berry, sharing his impressions of the evening organized by the Embassy, noted that the concert made it possible to literally plunge into the atmosphere of such a beautiful country as Uzbekistan with a great history and rich culture.
