Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A single portal of interactive government services launched a service for applying for a replacement driver’s license online.
The service is provided within one day. The cost of the service is 70% of the minimum wage.
After submitting the application through the Single Portal, the user needs to contact the State Services Center and present documents, a passport, an old driver’s license and a coupon, as well as a receipt for paying the state fee.
The driver’s license must be changed until 2020. This can be done, including at the Public Service Centers.
According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 2 March 2017 No. 116 “On measures to introduce new types of national driver’s license and certificate of registration of motor vehicles”, this public service is provided experimentally in the following Centers of state services of districts and cities of the republic:
Tashkent City (State Service Centers in Mirabad, Chilanzar, Almazar, Yunusabad, Mirzo-Ulugbek, Uchtepa, Shayhontohursky, Yakkasaray and Yashnabad Districts);
Replacement of driver’s license in the above public service centers is carried out in the region of permanent residence. If the driver’s license is not being replaced in the State Services Centers in the region, in order to receive this state service you need to contact the registration and examination departments of the territorial bodies of the State Road Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
