Uzbekistan 07/09/2009 CIS states to consider protection of secret information

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- CIS Executive Committee in Minsk will host a session of expert group on development and coordination of draft agreement on protection of confidential information and rules on handling of confidential information in the CIS bodies on 8-10 September 2009.

The document was developed by the Committee of State Security of Belarus and Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS.

The agreement is directed at protecting state secrets of the CIS, transferred, received and formed at the cooperation within the CIS.

The draft rules sets requirements to authorized people, working with secret information, their responsibilities, access order, level of confidentiality, etc.

It is expected that representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldavia, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will participate the meeting.
