CIS Prime Ministers discuss economic cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov participated in the session of the heads of the governments in the CIS member states. The session was held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on 21 May 2010.
Participants discussed over 19 issues, including issues related to economy. The CIS Prime Ministers considered implementation of the concept on cooperation in energy and forecasts for production and consumption of energy resources till 2020.
They also discussed main directions of cooperation in energy efficiency and energy saving, as well as joint construction of energy objects.
In the result of the meeting, the Prime Ministers of the CIS member states inked about 19 documents.
Next meeting of the Council of the head of governments of the CIS member states will take place in Moscow, Russia, on 19 November 2010.
