CIS envoys to gather in Minks
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A Council of the Permanent Representatives of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will meet in Minks, Belarus, on 22 September 2009.
The main issues in the agenda will be implementation of the plans on main activities on preparation and celebration of the 65th anniversary of the World War Two.
It is planned to create single jubilee medal “the 65th anniversary of the World War Two” and the Russian Federation determined single body on preparation of the medals.
It is planned that the World War Two veterans will participate on solemn events, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the World War Two and visit military burials.
CIS Permanent Representatives will consider draft agenda of the Council of Head of the Governments of the CIS, which will take place in Yalta on 20 November 2009. The agenda includes 28 issues, including issues of overcoming financial crisis in the CIS states and cooperation in energy sphere.
