Chinese Investors Show Interest in Expanding Cooperation with Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 September, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan hosted negotiations with executives of leading Chinese companies representing the healthcare, construction, geology, transport, and financial sectors.
The meeting brought together representatives of China Railway 20th Bureau Group for Central Asia, the presidents of China Construction Bank International and Huaxia Bank, the chairman of the IBN Public Welfare Foundation, the head of Shangxiang Xingzuo Entertainment Group, and other delegates.
The guests were provided with detailed information on the country’s investment environment, the conditions created for foreign investors, and the incentives and preferences available. Chinese business representatives also received practical guidance on effectively organizing investment activities, which sparked significant interest among participants.
Particular attention was given to prospects for expanding cooperation in key sectors of the economy and launching new joint projects. The ministry emphasized that the talks mark an important step toward strengthening economic ties between Uzbekistan and China, increasing bilateral investment, and supporting promising initiatives.
