Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2024, China’s total foreign trade amounted to 43.85 trillion yuan (approximately US$6.1 trillion), reflecting a 5% increase compared to the previous year.
According to Xinhua News Agency, exports rose by 7.1% year-on-year to 25.45 trillion yuan, while imports grew by 2.3%, reaching 18.39 trillion yuan.
"China has consolidated its position as a key trading partner for over 150 countries and regions, continuing to expand its network of international partners," the report highlighted.
Wang Lingjun, Deputy Head of the General Administration of Customs of China, noted that in 2024, China deepened its trade and economic ties with the five Central Asian countries, increasing bilateral trade volume by 7.2%.
