Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- China has joined the international coronavirus vaccine development and distribution program. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Hua Chunying.

The program, initiated by WHO and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, aims to ensure access for all countries, especially developing countries, to a safe and effective vaccine against coronavirus infection.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC assured that after the mass use of the drug developed by Chinese specialists begins in the country, it will become a global public product, which developing countries will be the first to have access to.

China will increase engagement with the international program to contribute to the safety and health of people around the world, added Hua Chunying.
