The chief of the Uzbek Tax Committee congratulated the Indian envoy with his appointment to the post and wish success in his mission in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzbek committee said.

At the meeting, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and India.

Botir Parpiyev noted that Uzbekistan and India established reliable and firm cooperation, which entered to quality new level, allowing to conduct active political dialogue and develop trade-economic and investment cooperation between two states.

At the meeting, the Uzbek side expressed interest in attracting Indian high technological companies in realization of joint projects.

Indian side offered to organize programme of training for employees of tax services within the ITEC Programme of Indian Government.
