During the meeting, the sides considered military-political situation in Central Asia, Afghanistan and Middle East, the SCO body said.
The SCO RATS chief informed the envoy on the measures, adopted by the organization, on anti-terrorism interaction of the SCO member states and work on establishing og cooperation of the SCO RATS and observer states and partners of dialogue of the SCO.
The sides affirmed mutual interest in strengthening anti-terrorism interaction of the SCO and Iran. They expressed readiness in establishing further cooperation in security issues.
The Iranian envoy said he is ready to control issues related on establishing cooperation between the SCO RATS and competent bodies of Iran.
Ali Mardani-Fard invited the SCO RATS chief to visit Iran to establish close contacts with competent bodies of Iran, which work on fighting terrorism and drugs.
