Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to further improve and popularize physical education and sports in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, schools and the higher educational institutions will specialize in at least one priority, promising, developing sport, including national sports.

From 1 February 2020, students-athletes, who have become winners and prize-winners (1-3 places) of the Olympic and Paralympic, Asian and Para-Asian Games, world championships, Asia, the Republic of Olympic and Paralympic sports in the last three years will be accepted without entrance examinations on the basis of additional state grant to higher educational institutions financed from the state budget (in addition to the medical field);

According to the results of the republican stage of "Children's sports games" in team game sports, the winners (1st place) will be provided with a certificate valid for 3 years, giving the right to receive the maximum score in the subject of specialization in the entrance exams to the universities.

Physical education teachers who have prepared winners and prize-winners (1-3 places) will be awarded with one-time cash bonuses in the amount of 6 times the minimum wage for 1st place, 4 times - for 2nd place and 3 times - for 3rd place;

Physical education teachers of comprehensive schools and trainers of sports educational institutions who have prepared winners and prize-winners (1-3 places) of the subject Olympiad in physical education held among students of secondary schools will be provided with qualification categories without involving them in qualification certification;

Teachers of departments in the direction of physical culture and sports, who prepared students to the universities and became winners of republican (1st place) and international competitions in Olympic sports of the next academic ranks (associate professor, professors) will be directly assigned.
