The delegation of Uzbekistan is in Japan to participate in the largest tourist exhibition in Asia – JATA FAIR-2017.

According to the press service of the State Tourism Committee, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, possibility of increasing the number of Japanese tourists visiting Uzbekistan.

The parties agreed to develop special tours for tourists of their Japan, taking into account their interests, ages and needs.

The parties intend to intensify activities on the creation and promotion of tourism brands of certain regions and the development of attractive tourist products in the tourism market of Japan.

Aziz Abdukhakimov suggested to the Japanese side to organize training and retraining of specialists of Uzbekistan in leading tourist educational institutions, tourist companies and hotels in Japan, as well as attracting Japanese specialists to organize courses and trainings in Uzbekistan.

He also proposed to organize exchange of experience between specialists in the tourism sector of Uzbekistan and Japan and organize centers of Japanese language and culture in the regions of Uzbekistan.
