Chagaev to face Lucas Brown from Australia in early 2016
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Regular WBA heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev from Uzbekistan will fight against Lucas Brown from Australia in early 2016, R-Sport agency reported quoting Chagaev’s promoter Temur Dugazaev.
He said that teams of Chagaev and Brown reached an agreement on bout and avoided wrangles. The bout will be held in the end of February and early March in Grozny.
Earlier, WBA obliged Chagaev and Brown to reach agreement on the bout till 30 November 2015. Chagaev is Regular WBA heavyweight champion. In July 2014, he defeated Fres Oquendo to win the title. He defended his title defeating Francesco Pianeta in 2015.
