Fund Forum of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan organized the festival in cooperation with Kamalak children organization and UNICEF. The event is held for the sixth time this year. Children between age of 6 and 14 can display their talents in such directions as performance in classic and national musical instruments, singing, dancing, applied and fine art, and literature.
“Yangi Avlod” festival is directed at revealing gifted children from various parts of Uzbekistan. Over 50,000 children participated at the festival in its six-year history and over 1,500 of them were awarded.
Fund Forum said over 20,000 children applied to the festival and 500 of them reach national final, which will be held in the Uzbek capital on 11-17 November.
