Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a two-day seminar with representatives of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, dedicated to exchanging experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial and economic activities.

The event featured interactive presentations on budget planning and management, the accounting policies of the Central Bank, and the organization of accounting processes, including the treatment of securities, financing, and the management of enterprises and organizations under the Central Bank’s supervision.

Special focus was placed on internal accounting controls, financial operations, and the management of international reserves.

Participants also exchanged views on applying international best practices and the challenges associated with their implementation.

As a result of the seminar, the parties agreed to further develop bilateral cooperation aimed at enhancing the qualifications and practical skills of employees in this field.
