Central Bank withdraws licenses of Alp Jamol Bank
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan withdrew licenses of the private open joint-stock commercial bank Alp Jamol Bank, the regulator said in its statement.

The decision was adopted in line with article 53 of Law “On Central Bank of Uzbekistan” and article 14 of the Law “On banks and banking activity” due to violation of banking legislation.

In line with the decision, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan withdrew license on carrying our banking operations and General license on holding operations with hard currency of the Alp Jamol Bank.

Private open joint-stock commercial bank Alp Jamol Bank was founded on 16 March 1998 by businesses of Uzbekistan. Charter capital of the bank was 10 billion soums as of 1 January 2010. The assets comprised 118.6 billion soums and own capital – 15.9 billion soums as of 1 January 2010.
