Finance 11/02/2008 Central Bank registers new micro credit organizations
The bank it registered two credit unions Omad-ishonch-kredit and Progres, both located in Tashkent city. The regulator said the authorized capital of Omad-ishonch-kredit equals to 66 million and Progress – 64.2 million soums.

The credit unions will focus on financing business projects to its members, including small business and individual entrepreneurs.

The Uzbek regulator also issued licenses to three micro credit organizations, Oltin Yulduz Plus mikrokredit tashkiloti (Kokand, Ferghana region) with the charter capital of 13 million soums, Garant-invest mikrokredit tashkiloti (Tashkent city) with the authorized capital of 38 million soums and Sarmoya sardor mikrokredit tashkiloti (Kyzyltepa district, Navoi region) with the charter capital of 13 million soums.

The new micro credit organizations will render micro credits and micro loans, consumer loans and micro leasing services.

Central Bank also registered two Tashkent-based pawnshops - Navoiy-Kredit and Daroff-invest, which will credit their clients under chattel mortgage.
