Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank with representatives of the delegation of the South Korean company BNK Financial Group Inc.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the conditions for the entry of foreign investors into the banking and microfinance markets of Uzbekistan.
The head of the delegation noted that the holding got acquainted with the investment potential of Uzbekistan and the preferences provided for foreign investors. It was noted that the changes that have taken place in recent years in Uzbekistan, in particular, the macroeconomic situation and ongoing reforms in the banking and non-banking sectors, as well as work to further improve the investment climate, bring positive results.
In turn, representatives of the Central Bank informed the guests in detail about the requirements imposed by the regulator on foreign investors.
At the end of the meeting, the guests expressed their interest in the presence of a financial holding in the banking and microfinance markets of our country.
