Central Bank: No proof of origin required for withdrawing deposits
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has denied claims circulating on social media that banks require customers to provide proof of origin when withdrawing funds from their deposit accounts.
The regulator emphasized that current legislation does not mandate individuals to disclose the origin of their funds when withdrawing their own money.
The Central Bank also reiterated its commitment to analyzing financial service issues based on citizen and business feedback, taking necessary measures to address concerns.
