Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the work carried out in the first half of this year in the sphere of protecting the rights of consumers of banking services, the activities of Agrobank and Khalq Bank revealed actions that violate the rights of consumers of banking services.
In particular, the following actions were carried out by these banks in violation of the requirements of the law: collection of commission payments from customers for crediting funds to their accounts, making provisions in the deposit agreement for unilateral changes by the bank to the terms of the agreement, placement of irrelevant or inaccurate information on information stands of banks, interest on credit payments in violation of the terms of the loan agreement, etc.
In this regard, along with the order on elimination of the revealed violations, penalties were applied to these banks in the prescribed manner.
