Center for social adaptation of children opens branch in Ferghana

Deputy Minister of Public Education of Uzbekistan Abdugani Holbekov and Director of the Republican center for social adaptation of children Vasila Alimova participated at the opening ceremony of the branch, UzA reported.

New regional branch will render a complex of social-pedagogic, speech therapy, psychological and medical assistance, to children in need of social protection from Ferghana, Andijan and Namangan.

Barno Ismailova, director of the regional center, said that the center was equipped with modern equipment and employs high skilled workers, who help to physical and intellectual development of children.

Republican center for the social adaptation of children (RCSAC) was established in 2004 to provide comprehensive support to children with developmental delay and impairment, children from vulnerable groups and underprivileged families as well as children in special need who are deprived of parental care. The center has a branch in Samarkand city.
