Center for Research on Cultural Property of Uzbekistan, stored abroad, transferred to the system of the Ministry of Culture

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President “On measures to improve the activities of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, the state institution “Center for Information and Computer Technologies” was renamed as the state institution “Center for Support of Young Creators and Information and Multimedia Technologies”.

The "Exhibition of Culture and Art" and the "Center of Culture and Art of Youth" will be abolished, and the buildings and materials and equipment on their balance will be transferred to the Ministry of Culture (Ministry).

In the structure of the Department of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry and all its regional departments, the Office of Art Expertise and its regional departments without the status of a legal entity will be respectively established.

The Department of Art Expertise under the Ministry and its regional departments have been abolished. The resolution also abolished the State Unitary Enterprise “Madaniy meros tamirlash-tiklash” under the Ministry and the State Unitary Enterprise “Meros Chashmasi” under the department.

Magazines "Guliston", "Theater" and "Mozidan Sado" are united in a single edition.

The Research Institute of Cultural Heritage has the right to create architectural and urban planning documents, to carry out geodetic and cartographic activities, to carry out activities related to the preservation of real estate objects of tangible cultural heritage without obtaining appropriate licenses.

The Center for Research on Cultural Property of Uzbekistan, stored abroad, has been transferred to the system of the Ministry.
