Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Migration Agency, Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Entrepreneurship Center in Uzbekistan (DUWK), and the NGO "Development of Vocational Education and Foreign Languages" convened to discuss the creation of a German language teachers’ training center.
The center will collaborate with educators who have undergone advanced training in Germany, aiming to increase the number of qualified professionals.
An agreement was also reached to sign a tripartite memorandum of understanding between the Migration Agency, the NGO "Development of Vocational Education and Foreign Languages," and Askania Future.
The German language teacher training project is being implemented in partnership with the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Entrepreneurship Center in Uzbekistan, the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt in Germany, and Askania Future.
Under this initiative, 168 Uzbek specialists are to be retrained according to international standards in Germany, enhancing their professional skills. In the project’s initial phase, 27 specialists have already completed an eight-week advanced training course in Germany. These educators are currently undergoing further training to refine their expertise.
