External debt consists of a public and private external debt, the Central Bank said in a statement.
The main growth of debt on external debt falls on the public sector, where, taking into account exchange rate changes, the growth of state borrowing was US$329 million.
The balance of the state external debt increased from US$7.6 billion to US$7.9 billion.
The growth of liabilities for private external debt was observed in the banking sector (US$70 million) and in the non-banking financial institutions sector (US$3 million).
At the same time, the amount of private external debt of economic entities decreased by US$222 million due to repayment of debt on principal and interest. As a result, the debt on private external debt decreased from US$6.3 billion to US$6 billion.
