Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan, together with Mastercard, organized an online training Girls4Tech training for girls aged 10-14 years in order to develop girls' leadership and technological skills based on STEM principles (Science, Technology, Engineering and mathematics).

Girls4Tech is a fully hands-on digital and financial literacy program taught by existing Mastercard employees and where Mastercard global technology and STEM standards engagingly inspire girls to develop their digital knowledge.

Trainers from New York and Moscow delivered classes on three topics: technology, fraud detection, and cryptology. In the training program, students got acquainted with the history of the emergence of digital technologies, with methods of detecting fraud using innovative technologies, as well as in each module, experts interactively conducted training, explained programming terms, encryption methods and the use of artificial intelligence in modern innovative technologies.

At the end of the training, the participants received certificates from Mastercard.
