Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Central Bank of Uzbekistan allowed the activity of the electronic money system QIWI.

The submitted documents of Payment Aggregation Systems LLC, which has a license of a payment organization and notifications of the joint-stock commercial bank Kapitalbank, regarding activities as an issuer of the QIWI Uzbekistan electronic money system were studied.

As a result of the study, in accordance with the requirements of the "Rules for the Issue and Circulation of Electronic Money in the Territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (reg. No. 3231, 04/29/2020), the electronic money system "QIWI Uzbekistan" was entered into the Register of Electronic Money Systems of the Central Bank, which is allowed activities for the issuance of electronic money.
