Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Instances of unauthorized religious instruction of minors have been identified and stopped in the Ferghana region, according to the press service of the State Security Service.

The enforcement activities began in the "Tegirmonboshi" mahalla of the Yaz’yavan district, where a 34-year-old man had been conducting religious lessons in his home for six children since June, despite lacking the necessary qualifications.

A similar violation was recorded in the Kushtepa district, where a 50-year-old resident held religious classes for four girls without the required knowledge or official permission.

In the Dangara district, State Security officers found that a 62-year-old man had been teaching religion to four children in his home without a license.

Additionally, an educational center was discovered in the Ferghana district where a 28-year-old citizen was conducting religious classes for 28 children. The center operated without official authorization.

In all cases, official documentation was prepared, and the collected materials have been submitted to the courts for procedural decisions.
