Campaign “From peace in home to peace in world” to be held in Uzbekistan

The campaign will be organized by public organizations and the UN agencies across the world within 16 days.

The campaign will cover four important events, which are directed at increasing role of women in the society. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is marked on 25 November and World AIDS Day – 1 December. International Human Rights Day observed on 10 December.

The campaign is organized by National Association of NGOs of Uzbekistan, Women’s Council, Uzbekistan Women’s Committee, Center for support of civil initiatives, UNFPA, UN Women, UNDP, UN Information Office and Kurash International Association.

The campaign will be organized in all 14 regions of Uzbekistan. The campaign will include trainings, concerts, contests, etc.
