Representatives of ministries and departments, firms and companies from Uzbekistan and Poland, operating in such sectors as foreign economic relations, trade, investments, banking-finance, customs, insurance, pharmaceuticals, tourism, sport, transport and transport communication, etc.
Deputy Minister of Economy of Poland and co-chairperson of the commission Rafal Baniak said Uzbekistan is one of important partners of Poland. He added that Poland is interested in further development of bilateral cooperation in various areas.
Rafal Baniak said that the visit gave good opportunity to open new borders for bilateral cooperation and consider issues of using existing potential fully.
The event discussed issues of expanding mutual trade turnover, increasing number of joint ventures and products. The businesses also considered implementation of joint projects at Navoi free industrial and economic zone.
Within the business forum, the Uzbek and Polish business circles participated at the cooperation exchange and discussed issues of participating of Polish firms in privatization processes in Uzbekistan, developing and implementing joint projects.
