In line with the decision of the committee, Bunyodkor interpreter Marcelo Santos has been banned for five years from taking part in any football-related activity from the date of his provisional suspension (21 April 2010) for violating Article 70 of the AFC Champions League 2010 Regulations during the team’s match against Al Ittihad (KSA) on 14 April and ordered to pay a fine of USD 20,000.

Bunyodkor were also ordered to pay a total of USD 2,000 for further breaches (unauthorised officials on substitutes bench and head coach’s failure to attend post-match press conference) of the AFC Champions League 2010 Regulations.

Pakhtakor have been fined USD 5000 as the club media officer and team manager were not present for their AFC Champions League match against Sepahan (IRN) on 31 March.

Pakhtakor have been fined USD 6000 for liability for spectators’ conduct (spectators threw water bottles and pointed laser beam at the visiting team’s goalkeeper) during their AFC Champions League match against Al Shabab (KSA) on 10 March.
