The Uzbekistan champions finished their 12-day training camp with a victory that will surely boost Luiz Felipe Scolari’s charges ahead of a tough season.

Macedonian striker Stevica Ristik (pictured), who helped Korea Republic’s Pohang Steelers clinch the AFC Champions League crown last year, scored the match-winner for Bunyodkor 10 minutes after the restart.

Bunyodkor, who will host last year’s runners-up Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad in the ACL opener on February 23, will return to Dubai on January 25 for a 15-day training camp.
