The delegation will include over 70 representatives of companies from Great Britain. The delegation will pay visit to Uzbekistan on 8-10 December 2010. The delegation will also participate at the session of the Uzbek-British Trade and Industry Council, Kultura.uz reported.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Uzbekistan Rupert Joy said that the delegation will include representatives of companies, engaged in oil and gas sector, agriculture, mining, exchange trade, financial services, real estate, road construction, renewable energy, etc.
Rupert Joy said that various presentations will be held within the Business Forum and the sides will consider implementation of projects in various sectors of economy. He added that it is also planned to ink contracts.
After the end of negotiations, co-chairman of Council by British side Hartley Booth will hold consultations with tourism administration of Uzbekistan on development tourism between two countries.
British envoy said that Prince Michael of Kent will deliver a speech at Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and participated at the events within British Week, which will be organized by Westminster International University in Tashkent.
Rupert Joy said that Great Britain hoped for more dynamic relations with Uzbekistan, especially in business and trade. He said that both countries have something to offer to each other.
