Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The flag bearer of Uzbekistan’s delegation at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, Abdumalik Khalokov, has successfully secured a spot in the semifinals after winning his quarterfinal bout.

Competing in the 57 kg weight category, Khalokov faced off against Spain’s José Quiles in the ring and emerged victorious.

This victory guarantees Khalokov at least a bronze medal at the Olympics.
