The first passenger Boeing 757 has conducted a flight on a new international route Termez-Moscow-Termez opened by the Uzbekistan Airways National Airline Company.

This flight to Domodedovo, one of the largest airports in Russia, became possible with the reconstruction of the runway in Termez airport. After the renewal and repair to bring the runway to compliance with international standards is completed, the local timetable will be further expanded with some new international flights, Pravda Vostoka wrote.

It is also planned to reconstruct the air terminal as a whole to create better conditions and more conveniences for the passengers. Currently only the small hall of the airport meets these conditions.
