Berlin governing mayor received at Uzbekistan’s MFA

Klaus Wowereit is paying the visit to Uzbekistan on invitation of Tashkent city administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was noted that Tashkent and Berlin play a key role in strengthening bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Germany.

Regular contacts of representatives of state bodies, financial institutions, educational establishments, science and culture help to develop twin-city relations between two capital cities.

The sides also considered issues of further expanding inter-regional cooperation in context of the Uzbek-German dialogue.
