Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received the new ambassador of Benin to Uzbekistan André Akambi Okunlola-Biaou.

The Ambassador of Benin presented his credentials to Bakhtiyor Saidov.

Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized that the government of Uzbekistan is interested in expanding comprehensive ties with African countries.

"We discussed several promising areas for cooperation, such as agriculture and the textile industry. We wish the Ambassador success in his work in our country," the minister noted.
