Beeline Uzbekistan network grew by another 150 base stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The digital operator continues to expand its technological network by launching additional base stations (BS) in all regions of Uzbekistan. In September alone, the company put into commercial operation almost 150 new base stations. Most of them belong to the 4G/LTE standard.

Beeline Uzbekistan (part of VEON Ltd) has one of the largest networks in the country with over 14,500 base stations. However, this is not a reason to stop development: there are still settlements where mobile services appear for the first time, the overall growth in the number of subscribers also requires network expansion. Additional equipment reduces the load on previously installed base stations, as a result, the quality of digital services for each user increases.

In September, the largest number of new base stations was launched in Tashkent and Kashkadarya region - more than two dozen BS. In third place is the Fergana region - 18 offices. Almost the same number of "newcomers" appeared in Surkhandarya, Syrdarya, Tashkent and Andijan regions.

“The network development plans are designed to cover the growth of subscribers' needs in the quality and volume of services provided by the company. Depending on the situation, additional equipment is required both in large cities and in small villages, on highways and railway stations, on the territories of industrial enterprises and student campuses. But one thing is clear: in each region, the network becomes wider, more reliable, better. We work in the interests of subscribers and are confidently moving towards achieving LTE network coverage for all residents of Uzbekistan,” says Beeline Uzbekistan Technical Director Mahmud Nodirov.
