Beeline Uzbekistan launches over 1,350 base stations in the first half of the year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The digital operator continues to expand the net, making better the connection on the whole territory of Uzbekistan. In summer only Beeline Uzbekistan launched more than 430 new base stations. From the beginning of the year, the company’s net got more than 1 350 standards, what significantly made better the covering and capacity of Beeline mobile net. The advantage is given to 4G technology with high mobile Internet speeds.

The new equipment is mostly often installed in those places where the number of subscribers and the traffic generated by them is growing faster, which means that the network expansion is required. Moreover, base stations are built in places where mobile communications and the Internet come for the first time. But they are growing down in the republic: during his work in Uzbekistan Beeline has already taken over 14,000 BS.

The operator pays special attention to the expansion of the 4G high-speed network. In June and July of this year only, new base stations of this standard were launched in Tashkent and Tashkent region, as well as in Andijan, Bukhara, Dzhizak, Navoi, Namangan, Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Syrdarya, Surkhandarya, Ferghana, Khorezm regions and Karakalpakstan. 330 settlements were provided with a high-speed transmission service with 4G technology. Residents of five hard-reachable villages, where previously was no connection, will now be able to estimate the quality of Beeline's connection.

The digital operator is developing the network in close cooperation with the industry ministry.

"Our ministry makes everything possible to create favorable conditions for the work of operators and providers in the country. Along with this, we ask them to expand the coverage and improve the quality of the services provided. The main goal is to provide high-speed, high-quality mobile Internet to meet the needs of the population and businessmen. It is this intention that underlies our joint projects”, the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov said.

Currently the operator's communication is now available to more than 92% of the country's population, the 4G network to 70%, since the beginning of the year this figure is increased by 8%.

“We would like all our clients to use the high-speed mobile Internet possibilities. This is why, the intensive development of the 4G network will continue with an increasing speed. The modern digital technologies will be available even in the most remote settlements of the country”, Andrzej Malinowski, the CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan comments.
