The programme is carried out within the framework of the project "Mobile etiquette" and will last until the end of the present academic year, the second largest mobile operator in terms of subscribers number said in a statement.
The company said the first lesson on mobile courtesy was held at school No. 7 in Namangan City. Pupils learnt about the conception of "mobile etiquette" and its rules and familiarized themselves with useful information in order not to cause a lot of trouble to the people around them.
The lesson was accompanied by quiz and contest, and demonstration of thematic reels. At the end of the lesson, pupils filled in a questionnaire with questions on mobile etiquette. Findings will help to improve the programme in the future.
"The task of a cellular service operator is not only lies in improvement of quality of rendered services, but it is also lies in the improvement of quality of mobile communication. In the context of this project we are addressing to young generation, so as culture of communication will be formed during early years of life. In addition to recommendations on mobile etiquette, we are offering a wide spectrum of additional services, which enable our subscribers to communicate without disturbing others," Andrei Soloukhin, Commercial Director of Unitel LLC, said.

In October 2008, the programme will be carried out in other schools of Uzbekistan.
