Beeline supports e-sports championship in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) supported Championship of Uzbekistan on e-sports, which was held under aegis of the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information.

UCG Shock 2010 Spring tournament was organized by editorial board of journal infoCOM.UZ and SHOCK club, which started on 29 May. Earlier, on 17 the registration was announced in Uzbekistan. During 10 days, over 800 gamers applied to five main gaims - Counter Strike 1.6 (team game 5х5), Dota All Stars (team game 5х5), FIFA 2010, WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne, Need For Speed: Most Wanted.

Aleksander Suchkov, chairman of editorial board of infoCOM.UZ, said: “E-sport in Uzbekistan is developing dynamically and the gamers represent Uzbekistan in international arena, winning several places. This would be impossible without organizing internal tournaments, which is supported by the UzACI and other partner organizations. This year, we were supported by SHOCK club and Beeline and we are appreciate it.”

On 29 May, the first competition on single disciplines of FIFA 2010, WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne and NFS: MW and a day later on team game Dota All Stars were held. The winners receive diplomas and special prizes from organizers and Beeline.

The tournament will end on 6 June with another team game Counter Strike 1.6 on 6 June. About 54 teams will attend it.
