Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV LLC) held a demonstrative testing of USB-modems at the Uzbek State Physical Training Institute. The demonstration was held within a programme on acquainting population with advantages of mobile Internet. Students and teachers of the institute were able to test speed and convenience of mobile technology. Jamshid Umarov, head of Information Technologies chair of Institute, said: “Today, students got acquainted with new wireless broadband internet technology, but also learnt about opportunities of USB devise. I can say it is convenient and our students will need it as they frequently travel to competitions.” During the event, participants also received information about 3G networks and tariff plans of the company. Oraz Abdurazakov said that the company plans to fully cover Tashkent city with 3G network in 2010.
